We are pleased to share that a new research project titled \u201cAn Insole Sensor + Multifunctional Web\/Mobile App Combination for Improving Limb Loss Rehabilitation Continuum Program Navigation, Prosthetic Prescription, Gait Training, and Community Function\u201d<\/strong> has been awarded funding through the 2025 Center for Medical Innovation (CMI) Pathways Proof of Concept Funding Program<\/strong> at Penn State College of Medicine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project is led by Dr. Prateek Grover<\/strong> and includes Dr. Sayed Mohsin Reza<\/strong> as a Co-Investigator<\/strong>, along with a multidisciplinary team of collaborators. The total award will support research efforts from June 30, 2025 to June 30, 2026<\/strong>, with a focus on enhancing rehabilitation through sensor-based monitoring and intelligent software tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The funded research will combine wearable technology with an integrated AI-enabled digital platform <\/strong>to assist in prosthetic prescription, gait analysis, and rehabilitation tracking, helping bridge the gap between clinical care and community mobility for individuals with limb loss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
