{"id":793,"date":"2025-06-25T17:43:00","date_gmt":"2025-06-25T17:43:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.smreza.com\/profile\/?p=793"},"modified":"2025-07-09T17:44:55","modified_gmt":"2025-07-09T17:44:55","slug":"dr-sayed-reza-leads-engaging-computer-science-workshop-in-2025-stem-summer-enrichment-program","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.smreza.com\/profile\/rememberance\/dr-sayed-reza-leads-engaging-computer-science-workshop-in-2025-stem-summer-enrichment-program\/","title":{"rendered":"Dr. Sayed Reza Leads Engaging Computer Science Workshop in 2025 STEM Summer Enrichment Program"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>As part of the <strong>2025 STEM Summer Enrichment Program<\/strong> held from <strong>June 16\u201327, 2025<\/strong>, Dr. Sayed Mohsin Reza led two hands-on workshops titled <strong>&#8220;Computer Science: Programming &amp; Algorithms (Part 1 &amp; 2)&#8221;<\/strong>, designed to introduce high school students to core programming and algorithmic thinking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Organized under the theme <strong>STEM\u2014Shaping the Future!<\/strong>, the program offered students exposure to various STEM disciplines, including mathematics, computer science, physics, biology, chemistry, and multiple branches of engineering. Participants engaged in field trips, experiments, demonstrations, and collaborative projects, fostering both technical and creative growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Dr. Reza\u2019s computer science sessions, students used <strong>Scratch<\/strong>, a visual block-based programming platform, to develop interactive games and animations. Through guided activities and creative exploration, students learned fundamental programming logic, control structures, and game design principles.
