The methodology aims to improve reliability and reduce downtime in power distribution systems by identifying hidden fault correlations and optimizing maintenance schedules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. Day-Ahead Electricity Price Forecasting<\/strong>  [ <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/posts\/pranavbalachander2_i-recently-had-an-amazing-opportunity-to-activity-7386610525180207104-gtAo?utm_source=share&amp;utm_medium=member_desktop&amp;rcm=ACoAAA2g3vQBUbXEpMvmJ3SQXhW7yGajidflJ9c\">LinkedIn Post Link<\/a> ]<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Presenters:<\/strong> Pranav Balachander and Lasya Madhuri Gundapaneni, Undergraduate students<br><strong>Title:<\/strong> <em>Day Ahead Electricity Price Forecasting: A CNN-BiLSTM-Attention Hybrid Model with Hyperparameter Tuning<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This project proposes a hybrid deep learning architecture integrating <strong>Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN)<\/strong>, <strong>Bidirectional LSTM<\/strong>, and <strong>Attention Mechanisms<\/strong> to forecast electricity prices with high accuracy.
