Dr. Sayed Reza participated in the Arizona Approaches to Pandemics, Lung and Sleep (AZ-PRIME AAPLS) 2026/2027 Cohort Summer Institute hosted by the University of Arizona. Dr. Reza was selected for the competitive faculty development program, which supports early-career researchers pursuing interdisciplinary research in Health research.
During the Summer Institute, Dr. Reza presented “From Data to Decisions: AI Research Health Spectrum,” highlighting the interdisciplinary research activities of the D3M Lab and future directions in AI-driven healthcare research.
As a member of the AZ-PRIME 2026/2027 cohort, Dr. Reza engaged in a structured mentoring and research development program designed to strengthen interdisciplinary collaborations and enhance competitiveness for future NIH and other federally funded research opportunities.
Participation in AZ-PRIME aligns closely with the D3M Lab’s mission of developing data-driven and AI-powered solutions that improve healthcare decision-making, biomedical discovery, and societal impact.
