Sayed Reza is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Penn State University Harrisburg. He specializes in Data Mining, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, Software Engineering, and Computer Science Education. His research focuses on data-driven decision-making in healthcare, open government, sensory data, and the enhancement of computer science education through data science. His work examines the intersection of civic, health, and sensor data, utilizing data-driven methodologies to improve decision-making processes. His research aims to develop secure, efficient, and informative computational solutions for healthcare and government systems while integrating these advancements into computer science education.

Sayed Reza completed his Ph.D. research on the application of machine learning to large-scale software data. His undergraduate research focused on developing a Peer-to-Peer Review Management System designed to enhance the submission and review processes. My main research areas are Machine learning, Data Science, Software Engineering, and CS Education. The goal of my research is to develop novel algorithms to solve problems from these areas while respecting the underlying problem structures and presenting scalable platforms that can handle massive, heterogeneous data sets.
